FALL COLLECTION FEATURES 43 STYLES CREATED WITH SUSTAINABILITY AND COMFORT AT THE FOREFRONT
DECATUR, TX, December 13, 2021 – Twisted X®, a Twisted X Global Brands company and leader in sustainable footwear, and Wrangler®, a global icon in jeanswear and casual apparel, today announced that the first collection of Wrangler Footwear is now available for purchase at select retailers nationwide. The Fall collection includes 43 styles that incorporate a blend of casual fashion with athletic comfort. Wrangler Footwear is available for men, women and children, spanning across the western, casual/modern, outdoor, work, and work/casual categories.
The two brands worked hand in hand to create Wrangler’s line of footwear, Wrangler Footwear, adding to the company’s extensive portfolio of offerings including denim and clothing. Wrangler sought Twisted X’s sustainable mindset and innovative abilities to design and develop a product line that is diverse and high-quality with a focus on comfort, structure and style.
“We are proud to officially advance the Wrangler brand into a new retail category with this exciting product launch,” said Vice President Wrangler NAM Western & Workwear, Allen Montgomery. “Twisted X’s sustainable and innovative efforts have brought this collection to life. Not only is this launch a huge milestone for Wrangler, but it’s also exciting for the western community.”
With ambitious sustainability goals and future-focused practices, Wrangler and Twisted X have created conscious footwear that prioritizes the planet and aims to reduce our ecological footprint every step of the way. The Wrangler Footwear line features many sustainable elements, including uppers (ecoTWX®) and shoe lining made from upcycled plastic water bottles, midsoles made from sugarcane molasses, outsoles made with rice husk, an agricultural by-product and footbeds made with 85% upcycled production waste. For every ecoTWX® pair sold, Twisted X will plant a tree in partnership with One Tree Planted® to continue offsetting carbon emissions, bettering the planet.
“Wrangler is such an iconic brand and we’re thrilled to partner together to introduce something new to the footwear industry,” said Prasad Reddy, Twisted X CEO. “We set out to make this collection with quality, comfort and sustainability at the forefront, pillars that are core to both companies. Our top concern was the Earth and those who call it home, so we’re very proud of the final product and can’t wait for consumers to experience it.”
First announced in December 2020, the collection is available now nationwide in-stores.
